Japan’s leading English speaking rock band [ALEXANDROS] will be making their return to Kuala Lumpur this July, after receiving a great response for their first ever Kuala Lumpur concert last year. Their recent tour is in conjunction with their latest album release titled 「Sleepless in Brooklyn」.
Their new album features an original song “Arpeggio”, which is the theme song of the PS4 game “Protect Judge”, starring Japanese Superstar Actor Takuya Kimura as the main character in the video game. Takuya Kimura is also featured in their "Arpeggio" music video.
The band has steadily gained mainstream recognition after having their songs featured on a number of TV dramas and animes, as well as corporate commercials on TV. Last year, they were revealed to be singing the main theme song “Mosquito Bite” for the Hollywood Live-Action movie for 'BLEACH', which is based on the worldwide popularly-known anime of the same name. Just recently, they were also announced to be the main theme song singers for the Japanese version of the upcoming Hollywood movie 'Godzilla King of Monsters'.
[ALEXANDROS] were formerly known as Champagne, and are a four-piece rock band from Japan that plays a mixture of alternative and hard rock, with elements of pop, punk and emo, lending them a contemporary sound that carries a wide appeal. They are currently signed to Universal Music Japan and are one of the bigger names in the current Japanese rock scene. The band performs songs in both Japanese and English, which makes them instantly accessible to a larger global audience. Their transnational appeal also stems from the fact that the members have living experience abroad and are multilingual; skills and competencies they also transfer into their art and sound.
